My Husband realy likes this shaving cream. It gives a smooth shave and reduces the irritations and redness that he normally would have with any other shavine product. I am going to buy him some of the other mens line products. I am sure he will like them just as well.

I've been using this product for a few years now and I have to say it's by far the best shaving cream I've ever used. I "too" know shaving creams and a cream is NOT supposed to foam up. It does exactly as it says, it's a cream. I've used the leading Gels and foams since I was in high school (I'm 38) and I always had irritation. Once going to Burt's Bees that was a thing of the past. I've run out before and tried to go back to the gels and foams and paid the price dearly with my face. Don't settle for anything less than this product. Good going guys, keep up the great work.

Not bad just tried it today.

i think it will get better once i keep using it since its my first time. after i was done shaving and rinsed my face off and dried it i still felt a slight irritation but otherwise it does what it says and i will continue to use it and see what happens.

Worst Shave Cream I've Ever Used

Cons: Irritating
I know something about shave cream. A good cream should foam-up, support the whisker to make it easier to cut and lubricate the face so that the blade cuts smoothly without irritating the skin. THIS PRODUCT DID NONE OF THIS. It did not foam-up, did not lubricate, was heavy and somewhat greasy. Did not facilitate a smooth, close shave and left my face very irritated. Rather than lubricate the razor, I felt that it was a little sticky. By far, the worst shave cream I have ever used. There are many other better products out there in the marketplace.

If you're used to lathery shaves, this lotion will take a little getting used to. However, once you get passed that, you'll see this lotion gives you one of the closest shaves you've probably ever had. I love it's fragrance, too.

Cons: feels oily at first
The first time I used the shave cream, it felt oily. But after using it a couple of times, I realized this shave cream is the best I have used. I've tried to go back to the regular lather or gel products and there is no comparison. The ingredients provide a lubricated surface for the razor. The shave is close and smooth.

Worst product for shaving

The Shave Cream does NOT foam, does NOT cover, and is a small step above dry-shaving. If there were a Shaving Cream Certification, this product would NOT have it.

I've tried a lot of different shave creams and this is the best one by far. It doesn't foam up and that threw me off at first but it works the best. I get fewer (almost no) bumps after shaving and my neck doesn't hurt afterward. It is definitely worth the money to not be in pain and bleeding after shaving.

My husband has very sensitive skin. Regular shaving cream has always dried out his skin and he can get red marks after shaving. I bought him this product for Christmas and he won't use anything else now. Not only does he get a close shave, his skin stays moisturized and the red marks are a thing of the past!

Burt's Men Shave Cream is good stuff. Applies smoothly with nice scent, natural products that not foamey or geley. The razor glides over the cream like a dream, not treating the face too mean. Not pressurized so can be take on planes, trains and automobiles. One tube goes a looooong way.

Bought this for my husband. He uses an electric razor and tried this as a substitution for his expensive "X" brand of shave cream. He like this even more and so we don't buy the "X" brand anymore, and save money to boot. A win-win product in my husband's eyes.....and it's even organic!

My husband is very picky and has somewhat sensitive skin. When he started using this, his face didn't break out and his skin felt great! The scent doesn't bother him like most other scented products do. Great safe ingredients too!

I have been using the Bay Rum shaving soap for a long time. When BB dropped the Bay Rum line I had nothing, so I tried this cream.

My daughter gave me some for fathers day, She loves her dad. Great cream, I can honestly say I have never had a more close and pleasent shave. No dry skin or oily feeling. Works great on 3 day stuble or from what my wife and daughter tell me leg and pits since they have used it all...lol. Get some and hide it from the girls in you life or it will disapear.

I love knowing that the product I am using is a lot better for the environment than others, and this shaving cream does that while being one of the best shaving creams out there. It doesn't lather up like most shave creams, but I find that I get a much better shave with one that doesn't. You will get a close shave, and your skin will feel moisturized and ready do go afterwords.
