Great Stuff

I bought this product for my husband, bugs love him! This is the only insect repellent that truly works...Here in Indiana we have those pesty flying,biting gnat like flies. When they bite you know it...ouch! They hate this stuff, so we use our share in the spring and summer time. Thank you Burt's Bees!

Bought this because I already got 4 mosquito bites and march isnt over yet. So i guess the mosquitoes are out early this year. I bought this for the first time and tried it, I have to say that it works, I love the oil application also because I have somewhat dry skin on my legs, so thats a bonus! although I don't know why but some other bugs were flying around my head I think beacuse I was sweating, (maybe gnats, idk) but at least I didn't get bit by any bugs, including mosquitoes, I will continue to use this product. Thanks burts bees!

Not what I expected

This product seemed to work ok at repelling mosquitos, but I'm not quite sure, because I was too busy swatting at other bugs to notice. As soon as I put this product on my kids and got us all outside, bees began to swarm around us! Within minutes, we must have had all the bees in the neighborhood surrounding our heads. They were extremely attracted to the scent of this product, although it does have a nice, lemony smell. I love, love, love every BB's product I've tried, but this one didn't cut it, unfortunately.

i love the smell of eucalyptus and lemongrass. i can literally put this stuff on and the bugs swarming around me will try to find anywhere to land but on the areas where i put the stuff. Trust me...i currently am living in the Delta of Arkansas where the 'skeeters can tote you off. i have dry skin, so i love the oil application. i rub it in and my skin gets supersoft and i get the bug repellent benefit, too!!!!
even my husband is hooked on it and we use it on our great pyrnees and cat.

The Only One

We were looking for a natural bug spray for us and our two boys and decided to give this a try. We have not used anything else since. This stuff works! It is the only one we will ever buy.

Great for Traveling

I have been using Bert's insect repellent for years and it has always worked for me. I'm a traveler and have spend many summers in humid, sandy beaches such as Costa Rica, Honduras and Belize. Once I rub the yummy smelling product on, I'm not bite by any bugs - big or small!

This product is the best insect repellant I have EVER used. When bugs learn of my whereabouts, they swarm tauntingly, unforgivingly, recklessly around me. The other day I had to leave a golf course because the bug bites were distractingly inchy to the point of abuse. I couldn't play. Using this product, I feel as shielded as if I wore a coat of armor.

Works Perfectly on My Saint Bernard

I needed something natural and safe to keep the summertime flies off of my dog. I'm so tired of the flies biting her ears and making them bleed. It breaks my heart. Plus, I don't want to put chemicals or DEET on her. I did some research and someone recommended using Burt's Bees to keep the flies off of horses and dogs, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. Boy, those flies split instantly! It was funny to watch. Thanks, Burt's Bees!

Wonderful product

I started using this after giving birth to my first child. I wanted something without deet. It works wonderful and smells fantastic. Since it is all natural I don't mind putting it on my son and offering it to my friends to put on their children. It has become a hit at my in laws camp where there are a ton of black flies and mosquitoes. Everyone uses it.
The only downside is I feel that you need to reapply it more often than other DEET bugsprays.

A friend let me borrow some of this on a recent weekend camping trip. It was wonderful! This product smells amazing compared to other bug sprays, and works just as well. I found it cools your skin as you apply it, and doesn't leave a thick sticky residue! I love it!

Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great, easy to cary in small bags
Cons: please make also bigger bottles
i have tried many products on the market.
some great for ticks or flee or even mosquitoes. often they burn the skin. And none of them could get rid of the yellow flyes.
Yellow flyes can attack non stop and will follow you to bite you non stop!!! They were after my dogs during walks, biting them around the eyes . It was a nightmare. And i did not want to hide inside my house from may to july or august (until they are gone) .
When I found your product I thought , "the smell is strong but not bad".
And for the first time in years, i finally could walk my dogs in the intercoastal of NC without beeing attack once !!!
Yellow flyes are still around , but really don't like the smell of the products because they don't come that close , and don't bite me anymore.
They were after my 2 dogs, so I sprayed some in my hand and rub it on their head back and legs . My dogs sneezed a little , but never got bitten again.

I bought this several years ago to use on a trip to Thailand. I had high hopes for it as it's herbal. I only used it once and have never touched it again. It doesn't spray out nicely. It kind of just streams out and it's too oily for my liking.

I got this product in an outdoor starter pack a couple of years ago and now I will use nothing else. I live in Idaho and during Sring and Summer the Mosquitoes get really bad, especially when camping or fishing. This product keeps them off the whole family and is safe for my kids. It contains no DEET so I do not have to worry about side effects when I put it on my kids which gives me piece of mind. It smells great as well, unlike traditional bug repellents.

When I first used this I was in Corpus Christi, TX . THE MOSQUITOS WERE "HORRIBLE ". I bought this by chance an it has made me a true believer that an all-natural product can WORK VERY EFFECTIVELY and it SMELLS GREAT TOO. You will not be dissapointed !!!

A friend suggested I use this on my kitties to keep off fleas and ticks. I liked the idea because the product uses natural ingredients and it worked ! I also used it on myself and it kept the mosquitos away.

i bought this for my boyfriend who hates mosquitos more than anything. he had another spray that was deet free for when he waters the lawn & gardens but it smelled terrible & he always had to rinse off right after he came back in. this stuff smells very nice & he's not getting bit or bothered by the bugs while he's out. none of the bad stuff but all of the good. best bug repellant hands down.
