Great Purchase

I'm a very slow healer do to an autoimmune disorder so when I heard about the Res-Q Ointment and what it promised to do I immediately purchased it. And as promised the ointment did what it said. Within three days my bug bites were clearing up.

I work outside in Northern Minnesota and my fingers were so shot that it hurt to put them in my pockets. I used this for about a week and all was good. I have ordered more products recently and I can't believe how good my hands feel. This stuff really works.

A Marvelous Little Wonder

I recently went online searching for insight into a terrible reaction I had that caused my eyes to become swollen, red, and the skin around them to be dry. In my "browsing", I found that two different folks had used this product for their eye condition, and they were pleased with the results. Thankfully, a local grocery store carried this product and I purchased it and began using it as soon as I got home. I noticed a difference that very same day. Because the skin around my eyes was so sensitive, and somewhat "raw" due to swelling, other lotions and eye creams would sting. Burt's Bees Res-Q-Ointment was soothing. There was no sting and no adverse reaction - only almost immediate results. Though my eye condition is all better now, I continue to use this as my "eye cream" at night.
But, that's not all - in addition to helping me, it also healed my two year olds very sore diaper rash!

I had a very serious and big burn in my elbow 15 days ago, i've been using it 3 times a day and there are a very small fine scar it healed so fast! i washed with the poison ivy soap before apply it!

Amazing for poor noses

I have really sensitive skin. After being sick for the past two weeks and going through a box of tissues a day I developed a very tender and raw nose. My dad gave me a little tin of Res-Q and I've been using it for only one day, while still going through the tissues. I can tell a dramatic difference with the way my nose feels and looks. It has really helped heal me.

I have been using this product for years I love it so much. I'm a diabetic this product is the only thing that helps with my burns and cuts.
I used to buy Dr. Burts but I see that you have changed the name. I will buy more of it Imiss the name Dr. Burt's I also tell all my friends about

This was the first thing I ever got from Burt's Bees, in a desperate attempt to deal with mosquito bites from the many repellent-resistant mosquitoes at a summer camp. I would simply rub a bit onto any bites, and they would go away in a few days, without swelling, and it minimized the itchiness. I've used it since for all sorts of random stuff, as I find it works wonderfully and smells good. Other mosquito bite type things sting like crazy and don't even work anyway.
If you lose a container of it for about five years it can go a bit rancid though. But five years isn't a bad life span for this type of stuff.

Ouch!

Cons: Unpleasant smell, Hard to apply, Irritating
i tried this product and absoulutely did not like it. I LOVE burts products and have never given a bad review but this is not a good product and i would not reccomend it.

I absolutely love this stuff! You can use it on everything - bug bites, small burns, cuts and scrapes. I carry it in my purse during the summer when the bugs are out and have convinced friends and family to get it after they've tried it.

I always used Bag Balm. It works great, but the smell is not pleasant!
I once got a gift of an assortment of Burt's Bees products from one of my students. The stuff inside was pleasant to smell.
My husband said, "Can you look for something BB-like that doesn't smell like tar?" I looked on the website and found ResQ Ointment.
The only problem is that it costs double the price of Bag Balm for a whole lot less product. Bag Balm makes an industrial size and a pocket size. Could you sell RexQ like that? It would be valuable to be able to refill the small tin from the big one!
However, since my dear one is happy, it will not affect our buying it!

This has been a great tin to keep handy. I can use it for mosquito bites, cuts, or any other skin irritation that someone brings to my attention. We used up our tin just yesterday and I"m buying the next one already.

Use it Everywhere; Keep it in My Purse

I have a little pouch I keep in my purse for my everyday products and this is definitely in it. I've used it on itchy bug bites, dry lips when I haven't had balm around, on scratches issued by friends' cats, with neosporin on burns and most recently, I've fished it out of my purse when I used a glycolic lotion on my face and neck and found that the (even more) sensitive skin on my neck hurt and got red after I removed the lotion.
There's so many BB's products that can be used for more than they're listed, but this is my favorite and has been of the most, and most varied use to me.

I dont' know how it does it, but this seems to heal scrapes really, really fast. I use an over the counter antibiotic cream sometimes and the Res-Q sometimes and the latter seems to heal wounds up faster. Wow!

Best 'Natural' Medicine We Use!

I love Burt's Res-Q Ointment. I first starting using this on my young daughter when she had mosquito bites. She is very sensitive to bug bites (though not allergic) and the bites would swell, redden and get hot. Rather than using 'unnatural' ointments, I tried this. I was amazed at how quickly the bites would heal ~ within 2 days they were no longer noticable. Tried and true in my book, great for bug bites, cat scratches, minor burns and blisters ~ this ointment is a wonder. I keep a tin in my purse and my desk at work, and it's always in the emergency kit and travel bag for trips. Thanks so much for making it Burt ~ please don't ever discontinue it :)

I agree with the other reviews for this product. It's absolutely wonderful and incredibly multi-purpose!
If you don't like the smell, however, I would recommend Burt's Bees Hand Salve. It, too, can be used for anything, but the eucalyptus oil makes it smell way better and lends a "refreshing" feeling.
