Love This Product!

I stumbled upon the Carrot Nutritive Night Creme recently when I was completely out of the radiance night moisturizer and Whole Foods was out of stock. I had never seen the Carrot product before, and it was just sitting there like the little "drink me" bottle from Alice in Wonderland. I was admittedly a little hesitant about it with the carrots and the orange color... but I tried it and I Love this product. My skin is typically oily but also dehydrated in the winter. The carrot nutritive is perfectly healing. It doesn't feel greasy to me and a little does go a long way, which also helps with the finances. I like that it absorbs slowly. My skin feels nurtured, and the effects seem to continue even after I wash my face the next day. I don't mind that it might get on my sheets or pillow a little. It just makes it more fun. Sheets can be washed!

I love this product.
When it goes on it feel a little grainy, but it smells great and is sooooo moisturizing. I can still feel the effects a day or two later.
I ride several horses a day throughout the cold Buffalo winters and using this stuff keeps my skin soft and happy.

i have dry skin...and i admit it, i worship the sun, too. i use this stuff year round at night and during the day a few days a week during the winter. it takes awhile to absorb into the skin, but it is worth the wait. leaves your skin baby soft and really overall helps recover good skin health.
and it's actually became my favorite lip balm!!!! totally versitle.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I rated it 2 stars in greasy because Hello its creme and this stuff is real greasy BUT AWESOME! Its greasy so put it on your face an hour before you go to bed and you should be good. I'm not kidding in 3days I saw a DIFFERENCE! I always go to the keys and tan plus I use to wear mac makeup before I went organic so I had acne scars and this creme magically healed my scars. They are seriously no longer there. I have fresh skin. This is better than a facial. Plus it smells soooo good, I've stopped myself from trying to eat it LOL. Smells YUMMY! My skin is oily so I wasn't sure if I should buy this but putting it at nite no one will see my face but in the morning it truly gives you such a clear natural face you won't need to wear makeup.. BYE BYE MAC MAKEUP! Hello New NATURAL FACE!

I love this night cream!! It is so awesome for my very dry/sensitive skin. It absorbs into my skin without leaving my face tight at all. If you have dry skin this is the night cream for you. It feels so good! The smell is awesome as well. It fits perfect with the carrot day cream, which I love just as much as this. I hope Burts Bees never stops making this amazing night cream.

Just purchased this yesterday after hearing a lot of great reviews. I used this last night after cleansing with the soap bark and chamomile and toning with the garden tomato toner. Put on right before bed and this morning my face felt so divine. I've heard a lot of people complaining about the thickness and saying it's very greasy and waxy. Well your face needs an extra hydration during the night, that is when it repairs. I would not say this is greasy, however do not let this consistency scare you away! It felt a bit thick on my face but you use this stuff sparingly! less then a dime size is all I needed and let me tell you, your face with soak all of it up and feel wonderful in the morning. I personally love the richness of it, I feel it coats my face and protects all night.

Different since Clorox bought Burts Bees

I have used Burts Bees Carrot Creme for at least 10 years with total satisfaction. I loved that it had real carrots in it, felt creamy and seemed to fit the bill for a heavy night creme, my skin looked great, never clogged my pores and was a good price for a more natural product. However, since Clorox bought Burts Bees, the ingredients have changed, as well as the order of the ingredients. Aluminum has been added to some of them to allow Clorox/Burts Bees to say on their labels, "Now absorbs better!" and the carrot creme doesn't have the same order of ingredients whereas carrots are at the very end, in a different form. The fragrance is much different as well, and is doesn't absorb as well nor as smoothly. I feel that I am dragging it across my skin. I am disappointed because Burts Bees had a good thing going, but I also know the business world well enough to know that Clorox had to be their stamp on it somehow, and in order to save money a junior executive of some sort changed the order of ingredients, which directly affects quality and inevitably sales. This is my humble opinion. Would someone who had never used this creme feel it wasn't a worthy product? Doubtful. Just possibly a little cheep on the ingredient list.

Other reviewers are correct, this product feels 'thick' and greasy when you first touch it; however, it works wonders for my very dry skin. I use other Burt's Bees products in the summer, however in the winter; I could put them on 10 times a day and still have dry skin. I use the Carrot Nutritive day and night creme twice a day and my face never gets that dry, tight feeling. In addition, the price is less then half the cost of a department store dry skin product I had been using.

I love this product for winter. My face becomes very chapped and red in the winter and this is the only product that I have found that works. My face is well hydrated in the morning and it also minimizes my wrinkles as well! I would and have recommended to others.

This is my favorite night cream. It's so easy to spread onto my less elastic aging skin. It doesn't absorb in as quickly as others, but when I wake up in themorning, I feel completely hydrated. My skin feels so nice in the morning that I often forget to put on my day cream and never notice the difference!
Having two toddlers and a full time job, I'd been looking pretty tired. My husband has noticed how nice my skin looks now since I dug out my Carrot creme stash!
I like the marshmallow creme scent and feel better, but I like the carrot creme results better!!

I have read lately how good carrot is for the skin, so I was excited to see this product at the local co-op. The first morning after I tried it, I discovered a large zit on lower cheek and one on my chin. Thinking that maybe that was stress related and/or those are the more oily portions of my skin, I decided just to use the product on forehead and neck next time.
Alas! The second morning I had a big zit on my forehead! I have very fair skin and lots of products have not worked for me. Not wanting to take a chance with another zit-popping morning, I returned the product.
I marked no on recommending this to a friend, but really I would simply not recommend it to friends with acne-prone or oily skin.
It you have drier skin, maybe this product will work for you.
