Pros: Texture, Smells great
I love the light lemon scent. It's just enough to wake me up in the morning, but doesn't leave me smelling like a lemon all day. :) The poppy seed scrub isn't rough, like other brands of facial cleanser.

No need for a moisturizer!
February 28, 2010
Pros: Texture, Deep cleaning, Smells great
This cleanser makes my skin feel so supple after use, that my skin feels and looks like I don't need a mosturizer. The poppy seeds are suppose to exfoliate but there's not enough of them to get the kind of scrub that I like but since I'm not using this as my primary exfoliate that doesn't matter to me!
Great buy and wonderful lemon scent!

Pros: Texture, Deep cleaning, Smells great
Cons: poppyseeds hard to wash off
Really like the lemon scent and texture...smells like dessert! But I did not like the poppyseeds...they served no purpose except to annoy. Would love to see this product without the seeds!

My husband has really oily skin and this product works great for him. I have dry skin. I can only use this product about once a week as it is too drying on my skin. I love the smell and it feel great on my skin, husband says the same.

I think if you have dry/sensitive skin this product is for you. I have acne/oily/combination skin and this product was not for me because it left a residue behind. It smelled great though

LOVE the scent and feel
January 14, 2010
Pros: Texture, Smells great
I love this stuff! It feels really refreshing. I don't drag my feet as much in the morning since I look forward to using this so much! The poppyseeds sometimes get stuck inbetween my fingers. It leaves a waxy sort of feel on my skin but I don't mind it... it's like a built in moisturizer. My only con is the mess it leaves in my sink...

The "Just Right" Cleanser
January 13, 2010
Pros: Texture, Deep cleaning, Smells great, leaves skin moisturized
Cons: did not exfoliate as expected
First, the scent of the cleanser is similar to that of a lemon pastry. Intoxicating! While washing my face, I noticed that the poppy seeds, however, gave little exfoliation. It did leave my skin moisturized instead of the typical dry and tight feeling that you get with other cleansers. Another plus... I love how it makes my skin look bright and glowing. P.S. This cleanser did not leave a "film" on my skin that other reviewers have experienced.

It's a bit lemon pledgey and has the consistency of whipped butter. I didn't feel like the poppy seeds were doing anything helpful. It was ok, but nothing special...

My favorite thing about the morning
December 7, 2009
Pros: Texture, Deep cleaning, Smells great, Refreshing
My favorite thing about getting up in the morning is this Lemon Poppy Seed face wash! It's so moisturizing and gentle, and smells like fresh lemons! It’s really thick and creamy, a little bit goes a long way. I only use a tiny bit each time I wash my face and it has lasted me a long time. This is what you NEED to be using to wash your face, all those harsh cleansers out in the market are BAD for you! They strip your natural oils off your face and leave your skin tight and itchy…switch to this cleanser and you will never go back. I love this product!!! I switch back and forth between this cleanser and Burts Bees Orange Essence cleanser…they are both AMAZING!

Say "No" to Poppy Seeds!
December 6, 2009
Pros: Deep cleaning, Smells great
Cons: would be excellent if poppy seeds were omitted.
After using this product for 2 weeks have noticed an improvement in my dry skin.
I find this to be a very good product with the exception of the poppy seeds.
They are more of a nuisance than a benefit in my opinion.
Otherwise, I would hae given this cream an overall 5 star rating.
It is also hard to find in stores. I had to order it online.

Pros: Smells great
Cons: Did not cleanse as expected, Texture, Greasy
I'm glad to see this product works for other people but for me it was a failure. I have dry skin and every time I used this product my skin felt oily and kind of gross. It smells wonderful, but I think that may be the only good thing about it. As someone else mentioned, there seemed to be no way to wash it all from my face- there was always residue. They should drop this product and just use the scent for a lotion, in my opinion.

November 12, 2009
Pros: Texture, Deep cleaning, Smells great
Not only does this product smell AMAZING, but it really makes my skin feel good too. It's very moisturizing, and I don't even need to put any lotion on after I use it. I haven't noticed a film like other people have been saying. This makes my skin feel amazing, and I get good results. It's also very good at taking off makeup. I will say that I seem to get it in my eyes more than I do most other products (I think because it stays on my eyelashes), but that seems to be more of a problem with me than the product.

Would NOT recommend for those with OILY skin
October 18, 2009
Pros: Smells great
Cons: Did not cleanse as expected
When I first used this it made my skin feel oily after cleansing. Not that refreshing clean feeling you get. So I thought it was just how it's suppose to be, but the next morning I woke up with breakouts, as a matter of fact, I continued using the product & ended up with more breakouts. So I wouldn't reccomend this product for those who have oily skin.

Wonderful, gentle cleanser
October 9, 2009
Pros: Texture, Smells great
Cons: no exfoliation
This is a very nice cleanser. It's gentle, creamy, and doesn't dry out skin. I have combination skin and was able to use this without ending up with a greasy or broken out face. I know that some people really dislike the "film" it leaves behind, but if you wash your face with a washcloth a couple of times after using it, there is almost no residue. Too many cleansers strip all of the moisture and natural oils out of skin, and this product doesn't do that, so of course it's going to feel different on your skin. My only complaint about this product is that the poppy seeds provide absolutely no exfoliation, and given that they're so messy, why not just leave them out entirely?
