I use this every morning at the gym. It cools my face and gently cleans off all the sweat and grime from my workout. I absolutely love the creamy texture and minty tingle. Perfect for my sensitive skin.

my favorite cleanser ever!

I have slightly oily sensitive skin--and I've tried a lot of cleansers. The foamy ones made my skin dry and stiff, even though I have oil and breakouts. The gel ones I hated the texture. I thought a cream cleanser like this one would be too moistruizing, but after trying it in a sample size I loved it!
It is smooth and creamy, but doesn't give me that awful thick feeling that often comes with oily complexion.
The only thing is, it stings a bit when it gets in your eyes--but I guess that happens with most cleansers.
I love it! I even use it behind my ears--which tend to break out a lot. It removes what little make up I wear and helps my skin feel fresh. Haven't had too much acne problems after I started using it.

I purchased this product, the garden tomato toner, and the natural acne solutions pore refining scrub, and now have practically perfect skin again :). I used to have flawless skin, and when I moved to a new part of town that has much more pollution and what-not than what I was used to I began getting zits pretty much daily. My skin is also very oily and the oil-free face wash I had been using for months no longer helped in my new environment. I started using these products and taking some organic pills from Swanson Health Products, and have bomb results :).

I am 33 years old, and I still have oily, breakout prone, sensitive skin. I reluctantly tried BB's Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream after trying numerous other natural cleansers that made my skin worse. I was shocked and delighted to find that not only did it feel wonderful on my skin but it cleared up my breakout and alleviated the redness and irritation that I had dealt with for years. I apply the cleanser with wet hands in a circular motion and rinse it off using a warm, wet washcloth. I think the washcloth is important because it provides more exfoliation and ensures the cleanest feeling possible, but if you have normal to dry skin you may not want to use the washcloth and just rinse your skin with water instead. I can honestly say that this is the best skin product I have ever used!

Not the cleanser for my skin type...

I tried a few tubes of this and it's just not for me. I have combo skin, so it actually worked really good on my cheeks but left a heavy greasy feel on my forehead I could not wash off... However, It was very gentle, smelled good and didn't make me breakout. I probably wont buy this again.

I read the reviews for all the Burt's Bees cleansers and decided this is the one I wanted to try. I was disappointed to see it was out of stock when I went to order it. Finally it became available. I can see WHY it was out of stock! This cleanser is so refreshing. It has a pleasant smell and it cool to the face. I am very happy with this cleanser.

I wanted to try another cleanser for winter since it has the most drying season. This product is seems more for a person with sensitive or dry skin. This cleanser was not for me because I have oily skin and I didn't think that it cleaned well enough for me.

ive tried almost all burts bees cleansers and many other natural and organic cleansers and this is the best one ive found....it really cleans up my face well.....and ever since ive been using this cleanser and follow with a splash of rose water(i use it as a toner) ive eliminated the use of foundation or powder all together because my skin looks great!....the trick to using this cleanser is applying to face when its dry and lather up...than rinse with water.....because if you try to wet face first and than apply cleanser it doesn't clean up my face hardly at all and im left with residue on my face....i have oily acne prone skin and this cleanser has changed my skin dramatically....it leaves my skin smooth, clean, doesnt dry out my skin at all, has eliminated my breakouts and it removes my mascara as well....love it!

I don't typically use a lot of makeup(usually just powder and eyeliner with the occasional concealer), but I decided a few months ago that I'd invest in a good cleanser. I bought this and have loved it ever since. It's got a wonderful creamy texture that spreads smoothly over your face, and a little of it goes a long way; I can usually cover most of my face with just a pea-sized dab, so a whole tube lasts me for a while. It is gentle, and has a nice cooling, tingly feeling that I love, and it does a great job of removing any makeup.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this.

I purchases this since it came in a gift set. I just recently broke out all over my face from using Clinique ( and I have the most unsensitive skin) and since these products are sooo much more natural I used this to start cleansing my face for fear that anything else would just make my face worse.
I really like it!! Use make-up remover if you wear mascara but other than that it cleans very well, it doesnt make my face feel all dry and tight ( I have very dry skin and in the middle of a Chicago winter) I love the tingling and it hasnt irritated my skin more that it was and my irritation is on its way to recovery :)

It's really creamy like washing your face with lotion almost, it cools your face like makes it feel cold with this lemony scent.. it's not bad at all, but it doesn't leave my face feeling clean and also I don't use any eye makeup remover, so it washes the mascara off of my lashes, but all the mascara stays on my cheeks and the lower part of my eyes so after I'm done washing my face I have these black spots from my mascara, over all I don't hate it, but I probably wouldn't buy it again

I have tried everything....I have the weirdest skin..sometimes clear and sometimes I breakout everywhere. This is the only product that has kept my face fresh and clear all the time. My only problem I have is it is never available at the store when I need it. guess I am shopping online for the first time.

After first using it - I loved it! The texture is creamy and it's very gentle for the skin. It does clean very well and has a tingling feeling. The tingling feeling is not harsh - it's very calming/cooling. It also suggests not to use it around the eye, but I have and it didn't bother me at all. I just felt the cooling feeling around my eye and I actually like it. I don't recommend you to do this since it suggests not to but I'm just letting you know that it shouldn't worry you. My skin has improved!

Feel safe using this product!

Even though I am only a teenager, I try my best to take good care of my skin so that it stays younger-looking longer. Along with a healthy diet, I strive to use only the best facial cleansers out there. This is by far my favorite cleanser, because it deep cleans but is not harsh on my skin at all. Its ingredients are actually really good for my skin and I feel comfortable knowing that my skin is absorbing all-natural ingredients. If you have normal skin (not SUPER oily or dry), then this is the product I'd recommend to you for sure! The only con is that it does take a bit of time to completely wash the cream off of your face! But the deep-cleaning feeling of your skin can't be beat!

Burned my eyes badly!

Cons: needs to state on front of bottle "not for eyes"
When I see a bottle that says deep cleansing cream, I assume it means my entire face. Lesson learned....after burning my eyes rather badly!
On the back of the bottle, in impossibly small font it states for face, avoid eye area.....I never would have thought I had to worry about it.....This product definitely cleans your skin, but I guess your eyes don't need to be washed! How do I get all the makeup and yuk off if I don't wash it with my cleansing cream? If it weren't for the eye thing, I think I would recommend the product.
I think there needs to be a prominent statement on the front of the tube "not for use around eyes"
