so sad!
May 2, 2012
How can you discontinue this line!?!?! I am so disappointed, honestly. It's the only shampoo and conditioner that I have found doesn't fade my color AT ALL. Not to mention how silky and lovely it makes it too! Please please please bring it back, I don't know what else to use!

Fantastic!
May 1, 2012
I have purple colored hair and un-natural colors have the tendencies to bleed a lot during washing. This was the first color saving shampoo I have used that reduced bleeding and also truly kept the vibrancy of the color all while cleaning my hair. I have recommended this to so many people, please don't change or discontinue this formula!

BEST Shampoo/Conditioner for Color Treated Hair
April 28, 2012
WHY, oh why is this being discontinued? PLEASE bring it back! I have been a devoted Burt's Bees consumer for years and have faithfully used this on my color treated hair with outstanding results. There is nothing else out there quite like this product. :(

I love this!! Bring it back!!
April 20, 2012
I started using this shampoo just a few months ago and immediately noticed a difference in my hair. My hair color wasn't fading as fast and my hair was soft but didn't feel weighed down or greasy. I couldn't find it in stores anymore so I thought I'd order some from the company - I am so sad to see it has apparently been discontinued! I ordered a few bottles of the shampoo and conditioner to get me through the next several months, but I do hope you will bring back this wonderful product!

Love "THIS" formula!
April 19, 2012
Burts Bees, please do NOT change this formula too! It is the BEST shampoo I have ever used. It does NOT take the color out of my hair. I tell people about it all the time. If I see it in a new bottle, I will be scared to use it thiniking you tampered with it too!!!

Amazing Product!!!
April 11, 2012
I was looking for a natural shampoo that would be gentle on my colored hair. This is it for me!!! I have recently been diagnosed with dermatitis and it reaks havoc on my face. It's so horrible. I have had to discontinue using all body cleansers with fragrance (I can still use perfume in strategic spots thankfully) and shampoos with sulfates and parabens. I read blogs and many women who suffer like I do recommended many of Burt's Bees products. I tried this shampoo and the conditioner and I love them. They do not dry out my hair. My hair is clean and fresh smelling. The best part is it doesn't aggravate my dermatitis. I use it daily and my color still looks fabulous. My hair is shiny and has volume. I purchased 3 bottles each of the shampoo and conditioner. I don't want to run out!!

Fabulous shampoo
March 28, 2012
This product smells fresh, cleans thoroughly, and amazingly lengthens the time between coloring. YOu do need to condition the ends in order to get a comb through it, but my hair has never felt or looked better.

the reviews don"t lie! GREAT product
January 20, 2012
I read the reviews and they seemed great, but I was still a little skeptical. I have tried a lot of stuff, most just wash your hair...you know? I have thin, fine, curly/wavy hair, so my hair always looks flat unless I back comb it to look like a rat's nest. lol. I used the shampoo and conditioner...and the shampoo is very runny, but I knew that and didn't use too much. WOW...my hair was soft, and FULL of body, but not frizzy. Color Keeper is the best!! I am gonna buy a year's supply. Burt's Bee...please don"t stop making this:-)

Best Color Keeper ever!
December 7, 2011
This is the best shampoo for colored hair that I have ever used! I color my hair with non-permanent hair color and before using this shampoo my color would start fading after one week of dying it ( and I was using shampoos for color treated hair!).
Once I started using Burt's Bees Color Keeper my color would remain the same, super shiny and hair feeling soft.
The smell is fantastic, too! Thanks so much for this product! I'm SO glad I tried it! Never going back to chemical loaded shampoos.

My Favorite Burt's Bees Shampoo
November 18, 2011
I love this shampoo - it cleans and smells great. You have to use it in combination with a conditioner, though, because otherwise your hair will feel dry. Too bad this shampoo is not available in many of the stores selling Burt's Bees products.

Greatest shampoo!
May 21, 2011
I love this shampoo and it is watery, but once it's in your wet hair, it gets really sudsy and feels great. My hair has color in it and it really does work well as far as not taking out the color! It smells good and leaves my hair nice and manageable and shiny. I recommend this shampoo and the conditioner as well to anyone who has color treated hair. Also, both the shampoo and conditioner do not leave you feeling like it's too heavy on your hair like any other "for color treated" products always do. I wish Burt's Bees would come out with a nice pump type non aerosol unscented hair spray.

Amazing!
March 18, 2011
Pros: Maintains hair color, Softer hair, Shinier hair
Cons: a little greasy
Along with the conditioner, I think this is a great shampoo. It really works! My hairs shinier and softer than all the other harsh shampoos. The only problem I have with it though is that the shampoo makes my hair all tangled up after putting it on. But other than that, its perfect! And after only one use, I could tell my hair color was way more vibrant. And the color stays in alot longer. I color my hair red, and the color gets dull sometimes. But not with this shampoo!

Love This Shampoo
February 26, 2011
Pros: Softer hair, Shinier hair, Smells great
I have waist length thick curly hair that is a weird shade of red and brown. I don't dye my hair but this shampoo still works great and makes it curlier and brings out even more red in my hair. It smells great too. It cleans well and gets all the grime out of my hair after a long day of snowboarding.

Not my favorite.
February 9, 2011
Cons: Unpleasant smell, makes hair feel weird
This didn't do anything BAD, per se. It was just weird. The smell was not good - to the point that I didn't really want to use it because of it. And it gave my hair a very strange texture right after washing - it felt weird and rough. I didn't notice it keeping my color any better than regular shampoo - I'll stick with TreSemme, thanks.

Great Color Shampoo
January 30, 2011
Pros: Maintains hair color, Smells great
I just recently started coloring my hair and this shampoo is awesome! It smells fantastic and leaves my hair squeaky-clean. Gentle enough for me to use daily and my red hair is still going strong!

Shiny, silky hair!
January 9, 2011
Pros: Softer hair, Shinier hair, Smells great
I have always used shampoos with SLS in them and they totally stripped my hair which then required a conditioner that just weighed it down. I decided to give Burt's Bees shampoo a try and picked this one because my hair is color treated. I did not like it the first couple of days because it did not feel like it was doing anything. By the third day I noticed my hair getting less tangled while I washed it and it was definitely getting shinier. By the end of the week I stopped blow drying my hair because I no longer needed to "style it" to make it look good. Just a good comb through and it looked great! My hair also stopped getting tangled and felt healthier when washing it. I am sold! Can't wait to see what my hair looks like a month from now.

Preserves color well
January 4, 2011
Pros: Maintains hair color, Softer hair, Shinier hair, Smells great
This one isn't my favorite BB shampoo, but it did the trick. Usually my hair has difficulty holding color, but using this shampoo made my color last much longer than usual. The smell was earthy and light, it lathered differently from other shampoos, but my hair was clean and shiny. My color remained vibrant for several weeks and never felt dry or fried.

Great Light-Weight Shampoo
January 2, 2011
Pros: Maintains hair color, Smells great
I've been using this product for a while, and overall I think it's great. I have dyed red hair, which is typically hard to maintain because reds have a tendancy to fade quickly. This product doesn't strip the colour like other shampoos, and since it's light it doesn't weigh my fine hair down.
This product doesn't foam as much as other shampoos, which may take some getting used to for some. I don't mind -it just means there are no harsh detergents!

Not what I expected
December 11, 2010
Cons: Leaves hair dry
I usually really like Burt's Bees products, but this shampoo did not meet the standards I'm accustomed to. The shampoo lathers very little even if you use a large amount so it doesn't feel like you are really getting your hair clean.

good for the hair and smells great
November 22, 2010
Pros: Softer hair, Smells great
I've been using this shampoo ever since it was on the market. I love the subtle smell and the fact that this doesnt irritate my scalp at all. It is gentle and doesnt weigh hair down.
My husband also uses this shampoo and he wouldnt use anything else. We love this product!
