I have never been able to find a shampoo that I Loved,that wouldn't give me any allergic reactions ....this is my favorite shampoo it smells Amazing and doesn't leave my hair stripped! I want to always use it,fooooreevver!

Best, Most Fantastic Shampoo Ever

I have very curly, dry hair, I have spent my whole life looking for the perfect shampoo/conditioner. I tried Burts shampoos/conditioners after I found out I was allergic to popular commercial brands. After using this for the first time all of the irritation was gone right away. My curly, dry hair became super soft, shiny, and manageable. This is like liquid gold, I love it. My hair is so so soft and silky. After years of having dry, coarse hair I have finally found something that works, plus it is natural.

Wanted to like this but didn't

Cons: Leaves hair dry, made hair incredibly tangled
I've used other Burt's Bees products and loved them, so I tried this shampoo shortly after it first came out. I've used sulfate-free products in the past in order to be gentler on my hair, but I was very disappointed with this one. I wet my hair and put it on, and my hair became incredibly knotty and tangled. I had to coat my head in conditioner to comb out the knots and wash it with a different shampoo because I was unable to actually scrub my head. I didn't bother to return it and instead kept it to wash my makeup brushes, which it seemed fine for. I'm not eager to try any Burt's shampoos again as a result of this, but I still use their other products.

Decent Shampoo

My first impression of this shampoo was that I wasn't fond of the smell, but I don't mind it now. It doesn't lather up as much as commercial (non-natural) shampoos, but it seems to clean my hair well.

This is my favorite shampoo. It cleanses really well and smells fantastic. Since I started using this shampoo, I haven't been happy with anything else.

When I switched to natural products I was wary about switching my shampoo/conditioner because I didn't want to deal with dandruff again. This shampoo leaves my hair soft, dandruff free, and it doesn't have the medicinal smell that my old shampoo did. My old shampoo also took the color out of my hair faster than this does. I love this shampoo!

Good on thick, curly hair

I recently decided to switch from years of Aveda hair products to Burt's Bees because I wanted a more natural product--though if you're going to use a "salon-natural" product, Aveda is good.
Well, having thick, tight, curly hair means that products like Suave and Head & Shoulders are useless on my kind of hair. It's like trying to moisturize your hair with water--after a while, it's going to evaporate.
So imagine my surprise when a hair product purchased from a drug store (and not a salon) worked!
Long & Short: First few washes didn't lather like Aveda, but now I'm used to the lather; gives my hair a nice shine; makes me feel good about what i'm doing to my body.
Best thing: I don't notice a difference between Aveda & Burt's Bees, which means I get the same result for more than 60% LESS.

I love this product! My hair feels moisturized and clean. I don't feel like i have to wash my hair again right after it's been washed. Awesome product :-D

Perfect Shampoo!

This was my first BB product (besides the lip balm). I am very picky about my shampoo, because I like it to get my hair really clean, but still moisturize at the same time, and this did it! Even though I flat-iron my hair on an almost daily basis, my hair has never been healthier and smells great!

A decent natural shampoo

I'm used to the kind of natural shampoos that don't lather, so I was excited to find that this one does. It smells pretty good, and a little goes a long way. However, it wasn't very moisturizing. Even with the conditioner, I didn't notice that my hair was any less dry than usual. If you're switching over from chemical-laden shampoos, this is a good first step, but probably not the last natural shampoo you'll ever use.

For a product that claims to be "More Moisture" it did nothing but dry my hair out to the extreme. I even lent it to several friends to try on their hair, but unfortunately they had the same dried out result. It's a shame because the shampoo smells phenomenal!!

It takes some getting used to since it doesn't have the sudsy junk in normal shampoos, but it cleans pretty well, and doesn't leave residue or leave your hair overly dry.

The smell is great *after* my hair has dried, but a little funky when actually shampooing. Still, I like the way this shampoo tames my frizz and reduces the appearance of split ends, enough that I would probably buy it again.
