Love this pooh!!

i just got this and it is awesome for my crazy curly dry hair! I have had BAD dandruff since i moved to a place with weird water... and this stuff rids my hair of it just as good as Nizoral - special dandruff shampoo + it does not have the chemicals. I love how it does not leave build up and i Love the smell. i bought it in Canada but i do not see it on the Canadian website?? i hope they are not discontinuing it!

Would not buy again

I would never buy this shampoo again, my husband and I both tried it, makes your hair so dull, and makes it real stiff, so stiff you can't run your hands through your hair while washing it. The lipstick is great been using it for years.

I switched to this for the winter from the pomegranate shampoo/cond- my hair is very soft & shiny but not weighed down. I used to be able to go every other day washing, but the extra moisture does require I wash my hair every day now or it looks greasy by day 2.

This shampoo/conditioner set is AMAZING! I had a really irritated/itchy scalp before swithing to B.B's because I am sensitive to Sodium lauryl sulfate which makes most shampoos lather, and B.B's is sulfate free, so since I switched 3 months ago I have had no problems...It has also made my hair very shiny and has a nice clean scent. I am excited to try the body wash and lotions next, I know I will be very satisfied!

Brilliant Product

For the past few years, I always wondered...why does my hair feel so brittle and stripped of its natural oils everytime I wash my hair? After searching through what seemed like endless mounds of websites, magazines, and the occasional awakward moments you get when your hairstylist wants to shear your hair off because of the 'extensive damage' ...it makes you wonder. Is it me? Or the products I'm using? Commercial shampoos and conditioners contain harmful parabens, sulfates, etc. This natural product, I noticed immediately even after the first use, my hair was smooth, and I could actually manage it! You must know how my hair works whilst wet, to understand the awe and amazement I felt. Definietly at recommendation.

This was the first Burts Bee's shampoo I purchased. I was sold once I knew it was all natural. This particular shampoo leaves my hair very dry and I didnt feel like it lathered at all. The matching conditioner works well and leaves my hair soft but I did not like the way the shampoo made my hair feel. I recently purchased the "More moisture" shampoo and I can feel a difference. The shampoo isnt harsh on my hair. I would purchase again and continue to use Burts Bee's products!!

thought it would be better

I used this so excited to have my first BB shampoo and conditioner........but then after about 5 days i noticed that my head was starting to get itchy but i didn't think much of it.......then a week later i got hives on my head! i was very dissapointed. I really wished i could give this 5 stars..

Love this shampoo.. (and conditioner) My hair is much healthier, less frizzy, and over all more manageable. It took me about two weeks from switching to get use to the different feel of the shampoo.. (from dove products) but now I will never go back... So worth the results! I would not however recommend using without the conditioner.. U won't like the way your hair feels.. So get both and enjoy being nice to your hair!

I switched to BB because my regualr shampoo was causing skin problems. I used this shampoo and conditioner once and LOVED it. My hair seemed course after getting out of the shower, but when I dried it (with no product), it was smooth and shiny like I was a teenager again (I have very curly and unruly hair AMAZING!)! But after the second/third wash my scalp became uncomfortable, itchy, and slightly burning. I spoke to the rep at BB, they suggested I was having an allergic reaction and to contact my doctor and discontinue use. I am sooo desperate to have this wonderful hair again, I am going to try the Color Stay BB perhaps with less citric types of additives it will be more calming to my scalp!

This is the best shampoo ever! It left my hair really shiny and not frizzy! It also helped get rid of my dandruff. Ive tried so many products and this one seem to work wonderfully. I would reccomend this to everyone.

Hard to lather, but worth it

When it comes to hair care products I usually have no brand loyalty, because no matter what I use (or how much I spend), my hair was still frizzy and dull. But this shampoo makes my hair feel great, even before I use conditioner! It is harder to use than other shampoo (it works best for me to add a bit more water to the ends of my hair after I've started lathering the shampoo to keep it really wet), but it smells great and keeps my hair less frizzy than normal.

This is the best natural shampoo that I've tried. It suds up more than other sulfate free brands. No cons that I can think of! It smells amazing. I'm now on to try their shampoo for coloured hair.

My hair is "coily" and dry which caused a ton of breakage. My shampoo of choice was Herbal Essence (the original) and it gave my hair a faux feeling of health. My scalp was incredibly dry as well, even when when it was freshly shamppooed/condtioned. Before buying this product I did take a look at the reviews and I must agree that the shampooo does seem as though it tangles your hair but it did WONDERS for my scalp. You definitely need to use this product with the corresponding conditioner to get the full affect and truly comb in the conditione. Now, my scalp is clean, hair is shiny and my ends look immaculate and no more fly-aways. Overall vibrant and fresh look! DEFINITELY recommend!

I have very thick hair, so I usually have to shampoo twice (once to do my scalp, the second to do the length of my hair). My hair is definitely shiny, and it rinses out pretty well. I don't usually use a conditioner, and I don't need to with this shampoo either. And it smells great!

I've been using this shampoo for at least a year now. And let me tell you, I get asked almost every day what shampoo I use because my hair is so shiny. At first I wasn't sure about the texture (natural products have a much different feel to them at times), but I quickly got used to it. I had very damaged hair to begin with, from coloring and heat styling, and this shampoo has completely helped rehabilitate it without the use of harsh chemicals or silicones. If you're looking for a more environmental and health conscious beauty routine without compromising aesthetics, this shampoo is definitely worth trying.

I am happy with the combination of shampoo and conditioner but without conditioner i cant even think of using it.. When i applied it for the first time my hairs got dried however after applying conditioner(Deep conditioning: Shea and Grapefruit) they gained back their moisture... so i think the combination of both is a great deal as its all natural and harmless.. my husband is also using the same .. sometimes without conditioner and he is happy with the result..so i think it will work well with the short hairs even without conditioner...

I have tried almost every professional shampoo that have been sold at salons, and have never had results like this. My hair which has a medium curl but is very course has now softened up. My color is even better not as dull as before.

I used it first time this morning and love it! I'm always looking for natural products and this one did the trick. I also used the conditioner which was great...no more synthetics on my hair!

Pros: Smells great
Cons: Leaves hair dry
This shampoo dried my hair out quite a bit. It also caused it to tangle up and the conditioner that goes with it didn't help much with the tangles.
This would be good for people with oily hair, not for my already slightly dry/damaged hair.
