I am currently pregnant with my first baby, and of course freaking out about stretchmarks... Ive put everything on my belly to prevent them and no matter what cream or lotion, they still seemed to be popping up! I put some of this cream on about 2-3 times a day in place of my normal tummy butter I was using, and after about 2days I noticed they began fading! I looked at the ingredients and of course the first one listed is sweet almond oil, so I did some research and its an oil, high in vitamin E recommended to diminish the appearance and prevent stretchmarks! This is my miracle cream I have been searching for for 7 months and I finally found it! Another great thing is, yes it is a bit sticky, but it seems to absorb easier and faster than other belly butters I have tried. It smells yummy too! =)
When I first bought this product I was a bit upset about it's size. It's a small jar, but it is so worth the price. This hand cream smells amazing and I like that it is thick. In the winter it works wonders for when my hands get super dry. I'm constantly washing my hands at work and this stuff is great to put on right afterwards to replenish the moisture that I kept stripping away by washing. I also love that it's not just for hands, you can use it on your feet or elbows or knees...any where that you get rough patches. TIP: A little bit goes a long way. Burt's Bee please never discontinue this stuff, it's amazing!
I bought this to use on my ears, which became extremely dry from having to wash my tragus piercings 2 times a day. I tried many things before I bought this and it's the only thing that works. The skin on my ears looks and feels great!
This winter I have suffered with my hands cracking and drying. I am an artist and am constantly scrubbing and washing them. I use a lot of Burt's Bee products but had not tried this one yet. It was in my stocking at Christmas :) and within 3 days of using this product and the cute little night gloves that it came with....my hands were back to normal. Absolutely fabulous product! Now I use it every night before I go to sleep and can't imagine how I ever lived without it! Kudos to the Burt's Bee team for such an awesome product line!
This product is great as a hand creme. It's very soothing and effective and restoring moisture to your hands. The real reason I got this product was for my eyes. I really liked all the ingredients and thought it would work well, and I was not disappointed!!! I had been using the eye creme with royal jelly in the purple box and I was unable to find this product anywhere with the Burt's Bees products. For some reason I was drawn to the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme and it had all the ingredients that I had been looking for in an eye cream. WooHoo, have not been disappointed!!!
I have extremely dry hands during winter and this is the best thing I've tried for them. A little goes a long way and it keeps my hands from getting cracked. Love it!
This almond hand cream feels more like a thick paste, but that's why I like it: It adheres to the skin, and melts down to a cream that absorbs into the skin. I work retail opening boxes, and so my hands have gotten pretty beaten up and dried out, and this cream has brought back a lot of moisture and softness. I've only used it for a day or so now, and it's already been made a spot in my permanent spot in my collection.
Note: It's just a touch on the greasy side, so this is NOT a product to use if you're on your way out of the house. It's good for when you're home and have all the time in the world (especially if you have those cotton mitts or socks for heavy creams).
I am a nurse and the harsh soaps we use at work plus the foaming sanitizers make my hands extremely chapped and flaky. I bough this cream about 2 weeks ago and it has made my hands so soft almost immediately after I started using it. My hands stay moisturized as well and I'm looking forward to seeing if it keeps my hands protected during our harsh NY winter! I don't think that the cream is too greasy, the scent is a little strong (reminds me of another lotion's scent- Cherry Almond), but not terrible. Will definitely buy again.
i love Burt's bees products and noticed this on someone's desk at work and asked about it and she raved about it so I went out and got some and I love it !!!! Great smell, moisturizing, relieves chapped hands and feet
I use this as a follow up to the Pomegranate sugar scrub for my 4 year old who has itchy dry skin. The combination of both seems to help her stay moisturized and she did seem less itchy in the evenings. I used it for my dry hands and love the smell. It's a little sticky if you use too much, just start with a small amount and see if that helps before applying too much.
A bit sticky on the hands even after rubbing in well. Smells really strongly of almond, which is not my thing. I much prefer the banana hand creme by Burts Bees. The smell of the almond hand creme was so strong that my husband commented negatively on it every time I even opened the container. It does do its job of moisturizing though.
This is my favorite moisturizer for my hands. Where I live it gets very cold in the winter and this cream is great for my hands. I use it every night before i go to bed, and I LOVE the smell!!
I LOVE LOVE this product. I live in the CO rockies and it's always really dry here. My Hands always are cracked and dry and with regular use of this product I can see a major difference. I also use it on my elbows and occasionally my lips for a short time as a lip mask. I love the light smell as well. This is an all around great product.
I have had painful cracks and splitting skiin on my hands since I was 12 years old and have tried numerous hand creams and lotions with little or no long term results until I tried Burts Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream. Now my hands and fingers are smooth and the cracking and painful splitting of my skin has all but stopped. This is the best hand cream I have ever used.
My hands were dry and calloused, but within the first two weeks of use, I felt like I had a lady's hands again. It's strong-scented, but I don't mind it once it's rubbed in. It's a bit greasy, so I use sparingly, and it still gets the job done.
I own a lot of Burt's Bees products. This one was a new addition to the collection. I wanted to try another one. This cream is amazing! I wash my hands constantly and, in the cold period of a year, in addition to very dry, rough skin, I got horrible cracks. I was in pain and went to get something new. I got this cream, put it a few times in the evening, partially because of my pain, mostly because of it's amazing consistence, fragrance and fun little jar!! I also put it overnight... in the morning I was so much better, and almost cured!! Usually it would be 3-4 days of pain for those cracks. Beautiful! Get it, people!!!
Pros: Not greasy, Thick, Smells great, works, long term effectiveness
I like many of the Burt's Bees products and own many of them, but this one is my favorite. It really helps your hands, and it has a very nice scent. I have seen it work on dryness overnight (I got it within a kit where they had a pair of gloves, other lotions), and it works wonders. I have to wash my hands constantly at work due to what I do, and also I come into contact with a solution of bleach water that has enough bleach in it to dry your hands. This has healed and prevented cracks on my fingers, healed issues that were already there, and moisturized. My hands feel great, and this is my favorite thing. I always make sure to have a container to use and not to run out.
Since I found this cream a few years back I use it every night on my hands and feet. I live in New York and when it got cold the skin around my thumb and index finger would split and since I've been using this cream it doesn't happen anymore. I love the smell! Probably a little too thick for wearing during the day though.
