Saved my son's lips!
March 13, 2010
Pros: healed lips within 7 days
I bought this item for my 16 year old son. I had been working at a well known, high end beauty store and was able to buy excellent lip care if I chose. Well, my son came up to me and his lips were SO dry they were starting to crack down the middle. Those lips had to be healed FAST,so instead of buying something at my store, my son asked me for Burt's Bees Lip Balm!I was on the website immediately. Within 2 days his lips were on their way to healing and by day 7 (only 1 week) there was no sign of any dryness or cracking. Now he carries his medicated AND a regular BB's lip balm. I am dedicated to Burt's Bees forever! And I know I can trust my 16 year old son to know better than I which lip balm really delivers.

Pros: Feels great, Looks great
This lip balm is easy to apply and seems to help chapped lips. The scent (cloves) does not bother me and goes away after a short time.

Pros: Feels great
Cons: smells bad
Very impressed with this lip balm especially since I get chapped lips a lot during the winter. This soothes chapped lips and healed mine in a day. The smell does not smell that great though, prob cause it is medicated.

The Best... literally.
November 22, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great, Smells great, moisturizes
Wow. This is the greatest lip balm i have EVER had. I bought it without realizing it was medicated- I thought I was getting the pomegranate one and I grabbed this instead and i'm so glad i did. Now this is the only type i buy! And I feel like i cant go without it. I'm a college student and the classrooms can get so cold and my lips get so chapped. I make sure to have it with me at all times. i have one in my purse, my backpack, my bedside table, and recently got my boyfriend one too! That way if i'm ever without (which is highly unlikely) i know he has one as well. Oh and i love the smell- it even smells like its healing my lips!

Amazing Stuff
November 14, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great, heals chapped lips right away
Cons: not as readily available as other burt's bees chap
I HIGHLY recommend this product if you live in an arid climate: CA, NV, NM, AZ, Mexico, anywhere with a desert. I also recommend it if you're visiting any of these places. Or if your lips are drying out as a side effect of some medication you're taking.
This stuff REALLY works. My only complaint is that it is not readily available like the other Burt's Bees chap sticks. I have been looking for this for a long time and most stores don't have it. I especially missed it last week when I drove from Las Vegas to Florida. it's ALL desert till you reach Louisiana.
I love the taste and the smell of this chap stick (I've been known to chew on cloves) but my husband despises its taste and smell. He won't use it or kiss me while I have it on. But he does enjoy how extremely soft my lips end up!

L-O-V-E It!
October 23, 2009
Pros: Feels great
I like the regular Burt's Bees lip balm, but I love clove oil and when I found this, I decided to try it. It goes on much smoother than the regular balm and doesn't leave my lips tingly. I don't mind the tingle from the mint in the regular lip balm, but I LOVE this stuff. I don't feel sticky-lipped. The smell is strong since it's clove and it's hanging out right under your nose, but no one else has noticed and it goes away after a little bit. I definitely recommend this stuff!

Severe Cracked Lips
September 18, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great, excellent for sjogren syndrome treatment`
I am so happy to be able to write this review. I am a young adult girl that suffers from Sjogren Syndrome, which is an Auto Immune condition. This condition is known for severe dry mouth, eyes, joint pain and dry skin. This condition has no cure, we can only treat its symptoms. Although I have it mild, my lips get severely cracked and hurt. Due to my dry mouth condition, it takes forever to heal. But I found Burt's Bee Medicated lip Balm and it worked wonders. This is truly the only product that has help me keep my lips smooth and moisturized. I use it at all times, constantly. Thank you Burt's Bee! you have gave me back my smooth smile!

Miracle lip-saver
September 10, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great
In the dead of winter, this lip balm was a life-saver! Well maybe not, but definitely a lip-saver. It really soothes and heals badly chapped lips remarkably quickly, and keeps lips healthy. Its warm spicy smell is reminiscent of the holiday season (and that's when you would be needing it most and it comes most in handy). It goes on smoothly, and leaves your lips with a light gloss.
Its smell is pleasant but strong, so this isn't my everyday lip balm (honey and pomegranate are my go-to), but it's the one I rush to when i need a strong treatment for chapped lips.

This is the best I have found, I can NOT find it in stores here any more so I order from you!

Best Medicated Lip Treatment!
September 8, 2009
Pros: Feels great, heals lips quickly
My 2 yr. old daughter had severely chapped and mutilated lips due to a very bad habit of picking and pulling at her lips. I had tried numerous lip balms and they just were not healing her lips. I read about Burt Bees in an Allure magazine and ran right out to purchase it. My daughter loves the tingling feeling on her lips and actually asks for Burt Bees several times a day. I am extremely happy to say that she no longers picks at her lips and they are very healthy now. Thanks Burt Bees!

Best for cold winter
September 8, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great, protects from the harsh elements of winter.
I got this lip balm around the holidays a few years ago, and not only does the delicious smell remind me of Christmas, but it is the perfect balm for harsh winter weather. My lips get very dry in the cold wind, but I never had trouble while using this balm. Looks and feels great.

My winter balm
September 6, 2009
Pros: Feels great, withstands very bad cold weather
Nice and soothing. Works well on my lips. No chapping. In very very bad weather you do have to apply often, but that might be chalked up more to the weather than anything and still works just as well, just not as long as on more temperate days

Let it snow...
September 2, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great, therapeutically healing, good smell
My brother worked at a ski-lift last year, and his lips just got completely destroyed from the sun and the cold. I initially bought him the Lifeguards Choice, which he absolutely loved, but then he lost it up there in the mountains, after which, I bought him this lip balm. He really liked this one, too. Neither the Medicated, nor the Lifeguards Choice, made him feel "less manly".
After reading the list of ingredients on this one, I think I, too, might try the Medicated lip balm this winter. :)

Can't do without
August 30, 2009
Pros: Feels great
From early March until the end of November I work outside in the garden. It is both my job and my hobby. I am outside in the sun, wind, rain and occasionally snow. I've noticed that I don't get chapped lips anymore. Everynight I apply Burt's Bees Medicated lip balm. I keep it in my nightstand. The clove oil not only has medicinal value, the flavor is pleasant to go to sleep with.

August 30, 2009
Pros: Feels great, Looks great
Look, I've tried nearly everything on the market from Kiehls, to Labello, to Chap Stick and I always come back to this. If you like how well Carmex works but hate the smell or texture, try this. The smell is fantastic, the texture is smooth, and it really works.

I started purchasing this lip balm this summer and now have containers of it everywhere. My daughters use it all the time also and we love the hint of color.
