Pretty good body wash

I don't really like the smell of this. It reminds me of cleaning products. But it does lather up well especially considering its a natural product.

It lathers easily and my skin is very soft for several hours after use. No oily or slimy residue after rinsing. I love the scent, but it is more ginger than orange, which is just fine by me.

This is a great product. It isn't too strong in terms of fragrance, and it cleanses my skin without irritating (I have sensitive, dry skin that is allergic to the wrong products). I use it very frequently, and it does great. :)

I got this as a Christmas present this past year and for me I probably wouldn't have chose it but I'm glad that I got it. It smells nice and it leaves me skin feeling soft and lathers up very well.

Too much ginger, not enough citrus.

This wasn't a smash hit for me - the wash was rather runny and not moisturizing AT ALL. It left me feeling dry and itchy after my shower. The smell was decent, but it would have gone over better with a stronger citrus smell - the overpoewring ginger made this into an herbal flop.

Nice wash, so so scent.

This wash is very mild and the texture is very nice. It never dried out my skin and was very refreshing, and did not irritate my eczema. I personally didn't care for the smell and will continue to purchase the peppermint body wash instead, if only for the fragrance. But I am glad I tried this, it is a quality product.

I've tried the Radiance exfoliating body wash and now this one and I like this one much better. It moisturizes my skin better and the smell is wonderful! It smells like sweet gingerale to me. It made my skin very soft!

After one use of the Citrus & Ginger Root body wash I was in love. I have very sensitive skin that can get dried out very easily but this stuff has never given me problems! The smell is awesome, the feeling after using it is perfect, and it works great as a shaving gel also. Only thing is I wish it came in a larger bottle! Since switching to natural products it has been so hard to find bath/beauty products and I would have been lost with out Burt's Bees.

Horrid, hair-dye smell

I got this in the trial size bottle but I could not use it more than twice because it smells exactly like hair dye to me. This is very surprising since everyone on here says it smells amazing!
The lathering was okay but since I hated the smell, I could not feel clean.
I have tried the Radiance body wash, though, and I am hooked!

I love the Ginger

This is the best Bert's shower gel I've tried so far. Very refreshing start to my day and it makes my skin feel ultra soft. I love, love, love the sharp ginger smell - the only problem is that it doesn't seem to last long once you're out of the shower. I also wish that they made a lotion that complemented it.

My family can take bubble baths again

This product is so wonderful. My kids could not take bubble baths with other products as they would get irritated in their private parts and their pediatrician recommended no bubble baths. When I found this product, they were so happy that it made bubbles and that it did not irriate them because there are no harsh chemicals or fragrances to irritate their skin. I take bubble baths now too and it is wonderful. Thanks Burt's Bees

I tend to shy away from anything grapefruit scented, but the addition of ginger enhances the citrus and eliminates the musky unpleasant scent I find with other grapefruit products. It's very refreshing and seems to hydrate well.

I use this in all but the coldest months (I have somewhat sensitive, senior skin which tends to get a bit dry in the winter). It has a clean, citrus fragrance which is a wonderful "waker-upper" when I shower at 4:30 a.m.! It rinses off clean and leaves my skin soft.
