Love it!
March 27, 2011
Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great, Soothing
I love the texture of all burt's bees chapstics. I like the eucalyptus scent of this chapstick in particular, it reminds me of the forest. My husband will love it too.

Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great
This was so perfect for the outdoorsman/ridiculously chapped lips person. 3 weeks after I bought it, there's a change. I'm happy with it! I wish I could figure out what it actually smells like. =]

Best chopstick with SPF
February 13, 2011
Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great
It's the only natural chapstick with SPF. I am outdoors and want a natural safe product that protects my lips and works.

Outdoor Sunscreen
November 18, 2010
Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great, moisturizes
I read the bad reviews and I have to disagree with them. I use this as a face sunscreen and I saw NO white coating or white chunks when I applied it to my face. It smells herbal, but it moisturizes perfectly! I would keep buying this!

Pros: Easy to apply
I use this before, during and after the sun. I had to get use to the texture and the smell BUT the soothing, healing and hydrating effects are worth it.

Lives up to its name.
July 9, 2010
Pros: Easy to apply, works as promised
I've found this lip balm to be pretty hardcore stuff. It's definitely not your typical lip balm. First, it smells and tastes like the Res-Q Ointment which was no suprise given its name. Second, it goes on a little rougher than most lip balms. I wouldn't say it was hard to apply. Just that it wasn't as smooth as the other Burt's lip balms. Third, it has a pretty strong lasting power and is actually a little sticky. Don't apply a lot. I've found that one pass on each of the lips is all I need. If the taste and smell don't bother you, I think you'll find that this balm does an excellent job at rejuvenated really chapped lips.

The Squished Hope of a Hiker
May 5, 2010
Pros: wards off insects, high spf
Cons: Unpleasant smell, Hard to apply
I bought this in hopes of having a higher SPF lip balm when my fiance and I go hiking on the weekends. We were fine with the smell at first, but it grew to be too potent very quickly. Also, when applying it, the balm was very coarse and hard to apply. It went on in chunks instead of a slick coat.
I think I'll stick with Burt's Bees Sun Protecting Lip Balm for outdoor activities.

great for harsh outdoor conditions
February 11, 2010
Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great, prevents windburn
i use this when i horseback ride in the winter. It keeps my lips from cracking and burning from the sun reflecting off the snow. It also kept my lips from getting wind burn. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is outdoors in harsh conditions.

I love this
January 16, 2010
I cannot say enough about this product. My husband and I live and work in Alaska and spend a lot of time outdoors. The wind, the cold and dryness can be really brutal. This is the only product that heals our lips in this climate. I only wish I could find it in the stores!!!

OK, if you can get past the smell
January 14, 2010
Cons: Unpleasant smell, Hard to apply, rough texture
I wanted to love this because it had an SPF of 15. I love all the other Burt's Bees lip products and I couldn't believe how different this was. It has a rough texture and is really thick. But the worst part for me is the smell. I kept tasting it in my mouth and hoping it would wear off soon. I gave the product two days, and I can't give it any longer.

My favorite Burt's product...
September 5, 2009
Pros: Easy to apply, Smells great, works!
Cons: no longer green!
I live in Flagstaff, AZ, where it gets freezing cold in the winter and is very arid (single-digit humidity numbers aren't unusual).
I was given a tube of this (way back when it was a promo and still green!) and it's the best thing ever. Now that it's readily available, I have one in the truck, one in my backpack, and a couple more hanging around the house.
It keeps me un-cracked like no other. Accept no substitutes!

Bought Res-Q lip balm because it has no peppermint oil. I love the outdoors and the Lifeguard choice burned my lips.
