This lotion works like a charm. It's lightweight, absorbs well and doesn't leave a pasty, white finish like other creams and lotions with zinc oxide. Perfect for use under makeup.

i bought this product along with the radiance night cream. radiance night cream awesome ! this stuff is just ok. it smells great but felt greasier than the night cream which would be ok if it didn't make me break out. i honestly don't know if it was the radiance day lotion that made me break out or if every time i used it my skin just happened to break out and was going to break out reguardless of what i used or didn't use. will possibly try using it again just to confirm or unconfirm my first few experiences.

This is the only SPF moisturizer I like. It's smooth and not too oily, and doesn't smell like sunscreen, which really bugs me about other SPF moisturizers.

Best facial cream Ever!

I love, LOVE, love this facial cream. I have tried to find a facial lotion for day use as a base before putting on my makeup and after finding this product I no longer am searching for the right cream. I have found it in Burt's Bee's Radiance day Lotion. No greasy feeling and I find my skin is softer and brighter...I even have days when I don't feel I need to wear any makeup, just as long as I wear the facial lotion for that enhanced natural glow. Thank you Burt's Bee's for making such a wonderful product.

Not for Combination Skin

I have classic combination skin (dry cheeks, oily forehead and nose) and this product made my cheeks feel tight and my forehead and nose even oilier. It's very light, yet rather greasy at the same time and it didn't leave my skin feeling fresh and clean. The SPF factor is perfect, but it just wasn't a good match for my skin.

I haven't used it long enough to see huge results but so far I like it a lot. It has a nice light fragrance and a little goes a long way. Compared to the last "all natural" line I used this out shines it for sure especially for the price!

Moisturizes well and gives my skin a healthy glow, but I just can't like this product. It leaves behind a white residue that becomes "flaky" off my skin when I apply makeup. I can only use this "day" lotion at night or days where I am not wearing foundation.

For those individuals who are complaining about so called "Clorox" ingredients? You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The products are Natural and have only undergone an updating. In fact, many of the new formulas are superb compared to the old and irritating formulations. Having Clorox take over the Burt's Bees operation only solidifies Burt's commitment to superb and natural skin care! As for this product? It offers complete skin care protection from the elements and offers a light feel on the skin. It does not contain any ingredients that can cause clogged pores. However, take note, that the ingredient used for the sunscreen agent can be troublesome for those individuals whom have oily skin. Burt's Bees...Remarkable products at an affordable price!

Disappointing

Unfortunately, this lotion did not work for me. I bought it mainly because of the spf 15, and I'm not sure whether it was the sunscreens or something else in it, but it clogged my pores, including in places that I don't usually have to worry about, like my hairline. At first I liked it because it made my face seem less oily during the day, but I guess that was because the oil was solidifying in my pores. After a few weeks, it really exacerbated my acne. If you do not have problems with oily skin or acne, I think this would be a fine moisturizer - it's quite light feeling and smells lovely. I've had way more hits than misses with Burt's Bees products, so I'll just chalk this up to the wrong fit for my skin.

Like putting Perfume on your face

I really wanted to like this. I even stocked up on the old stuff before the new products are brought out with the new "clorox" owned ingredients. These are different than what they used to be, trust me.
Alas, it was not mean to be.
It isn't as moisturizing as I had hoped, which I was willing to overlook since the ingredients are mostly natural and it did add somewhat of a nice glow.

BUT I can't get past the smell. To be fair, I have a strong aversion to perfume and heavy scents - especially on my face. This smells tolerable at first. I was hoping the smell would wear but the lotion would keep working. It seems to be the opposite: the lotion is gone (skin feels tight), but the fragrance is now hitting it's second or third note. I can't escape the smell unless I go wash my face. It smells like an 80's perfume to me.
These products will be returned. I will miss the old Burt's Bees.

I decided to try a less expensive alternative moisturizer because the one I was using wasn't quite cutting it. I've tried other moisturizers and have had issues with breaking out horribly. I have sensitive/combination/acne prone skin and its extremely hard to find products that will not make the problem worse. When I tried the Radiance Day lotion, there was not even a hint of surprise "I hate this product" acne that I experienced with other brands. This is no longer my alternative moisturizer. In fact, it is the one I will be using ALL the time. I have been sampling Burt's Bees products over the years and none of them have failed my expectations including this product.

I haven't been using this product long, but my skin feels sooo soft after i use it! In my my experience it takes a while to absorb but once it does my skin feels amazing. I was a little concerned about it breaking me out, but it actually calmed irritation that my skin already had. It's reduced my acne. I really love it!

Never turning back!

I absolutely adore this face lotion. When at first I saw the price, I thought it was a bit high, but after getting through my first bottle I was completely convinced it was worth it. First of all, it works great even on my combination skin. In the middle of a Californian summer, it does not make the oil prone areas of my face more oily or break out, and it leaves all of my skin feeling and looking fresh and hydrated. Secondly, a little bit really goes a long way! I only pump about two-thirds of a dime size if that and it spreads nicely over my entire face. To top it all off, the sun-block component leaves literally ZERO white residue which was a pleasant surprise to me. It has also even helped to diminish the frown lines between my eyebrows as well. I wouldn't go without it.

I have extremely pale skin and can't go outdoors in the summer and fall or spring and winter if it's really sunny without sunblock on my face. I'm so excited to have a natural product with SPF 15!

Great Summer NATURAL Sunscreen Lotion

I had such a hard time finding a face lotion without chemical sunscreens (I am very picky). This is a great lotion, just enough moisture for summer when my skin becomes combination and absorbs quickly, no sticky feeling. Keeps my skin protected from the sun and no white residue. I thought the fragrance would be too much after smelling it in the bottle but once it absorbs into the skin I can't smell it. I might try other face lotions next summer but for now this is a good one.

perfect moisturizer

I have extremely finicky skin. Some moisturizers sit on the surface and leave a lovely oilslick on my face, and not moisturize at all. Some moisturizers will soak in so fast, I feel like I need a second coat (and subsequently, will leave me greasy.)
I had been using Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm for years, and ran out of my normal, chemical-laden moisturizer.
On a trip to the store, I saw that Burt's was only a dollar more, and though it was slightly less volume-wise, a 30-something year old friend uses Burt's and has amazing, beautiful, perfect skin and looks 20-something.
So. I went out on a limb. Especially living in a hot, dry desert, any moisturizer is put to the extreme test with the drying effects of air conditioning and the 108 degree days I live in.. so a good moisturizer with spf is necessary.
It doesn't soak in too fast.
It doesn't sit on the surface.
It just -works-.

I bought this because I was concerned about putting so many chemicals on my skin. When I read the product label I was happy to see how natural it was but was skeptical about how it would work. Let me tell you it is amazing. I'm 50 years old and I swim in chlorinated water at least 3 days a week. This product moisturizes and protects my skin from early morning till late at night. My skin is supple and soft and I have been getting so many compliments on how young I look! I will definitely continue to use this product and am looking forward to trying their others.

Not only do you need to use a little bit, it has 15 spf that isn't oily! I get a minor breakout after one day of not washing my face and oily sunscreen doesn't help. This product is great for people who have fair skin and want to tan a little without burning. I wanted a nice sunscreen lotion that wasn't oily and this is the only one i could find! Best product ever! The price is a little expensive though.

Light and refreshing

This face lotion is very light, but keeps my face moisturized all day with out causing breakouts on my oily forehead. Wears well under make up, and the pump is great for not wasting product - I use about 3-5 for my face and neck. The only thing is I wish it had a larger SPF.
