Acne Solutions Review

The acne solutions cleanser is great but the lotion still leaves parts of my skin oily. The spot treatment is my favorite, it clears up pimples fast. I only wish the bottle were bigger than .26 oz. I ordered the acne solutions kit 2 weeks ago and the spot treatment is already out.

Purchased this for my 'tween daughter who had very noticable acne. When she uses it twice daily it greatly reduces the appearance of acne. She loves it.

Needs 2% Salicylic Acid

The wash and spot treatment are good but they need to have 2% salicylic acid. The lotion makes my oily skin worse and leads to more blemishes. The pore refining scrub is not scrubby enough and leaves an oily/greasy feel.

Not Oil-Free

I like the cleansers and spot treatment, but the moisturizer is on the heavy side. It is not oil-free, so if I use if in the morning, I'm super-shiny by noon! I don't understand why there is so much oil in an acne medication. Many people with acne prone skin also have oily skin. I wish the moisturizer was oil-free.

Best acne regimen I've ever used.

I bought all 4 products, plus I've been using the clay mask. My skin looks great. I've always had extremely oily skin but this has really helped control that. The gel cleanser is really gentle but actually cleans. The spot treatment definitely helps if I use it as soon as I see a new blemish (but I've only had one or two new ones since I've started using this stuff). The lotion is nice and light, and a little goes a long way. I only have to use a small dab. The pore scrub makes my skin feel a little oily right after I use it, but I've definitely noticed my pores getting smaller, and the blackheads I always have around my nose and on my chin are clearing up. Nothing has ever been able to clear those up before. I'm really happy I bought this.

Pros: not drying, controls acne
I've tried many acne products since my teens and this is the first that didn't dry my skin. As I'm in my 40's I now have combination skin with dry skin on my cheeks and an oily T-zone. The Burts Bees acne system controls my acne without my skin feeling dry and tight. The moisturizer works surprisingly well. I also love that it's natural. Thank you for this product.

Pleasant surprise

This system strikes the balance between too harsh and not strong enough. Some systems, including Burt's soaps, over dry my skin. Others, don't seem to clean or treat adult acne. This system does both while maintaining moisture.
