My daughter loves to brush her teeth now!!! Fresh and clean teeth abound at my house! Leaves breath fresh and clean, with a great taste kids love!

Liked toothpaste, but..

I really liked the toothpaste--it polished well and didn't irritate my sensitive teeth. However, the bottle leaked all over my sink--I probably used more toothpaste there than on myself! That's the only reason I wouldn't recommend the product. If Burt's can fix that problem, I'd give it 5 stars!

Pros: great taste
My son has a weird reaction to mint toothpaste so he loves this orange toothpaste. It has a great flavor and cleans nicely.

Pros:
-Taste/Flavor
-Gets the job done
-SLS-free- which is a rare find and the reason why I got this toothpaste in the first place. See the very bottom of the review for details.
-If you tilt your head back a little bit as you brush, you won't get messy with it like the regular foaming toothpaste where you get it on the outside of your mouth, just be careful not to swallow. You may salivate more than usual, so tilting the head back will keep some messy brushing at a minimum.

Cons:
-Cap is difficult to pop off, with or without dry hands, so what ends up happening is that when you struggle with the cap trying to pop it off, you end up putting a lot of pressure in the tube of toothpaste trying to get a good grip on popping that lid off, so a string of toothpaste will always be attached to the lid as it springs open. Therefore, MESSY. IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE THIS TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE, JUST TWIST THE ENTIRE CAP OFF INSTEAD.
-Chalky aftertaste in the mouth.
-Feeling somewhat dehydrated after usage. Probably from all that stimulated salivation while you're using it.
-Not very effective for tongue scraping. There's no burning sensation on your tongue as soon as the toothpaste hits it unlike most regular toothpastes (probably because the ingredient that caused that sensation is not natural therefore omitted). Instead, the toothpaste feels like it dilutes with your saliva on your tongue. It also feels like it causes more salivation in my mouth and dehydrate after swishing and spitting it out.
-Pricey--- you pay more for less toothpaste than if you were to buy regular big brand names like Crest or Colgate.

I don't mean to be harsh on the product, but these are the results that I experienced after using it a few times and it's been pretty consistent. The reason why I don't rate lower is because I have lot of high hopes that this product will put an end to my suffering. Either the SLS or the fluoride in regular toothpastes have been wreaking havoc to the skin surrounding my mouth. The skin surrounding my mouth would get red, itchy, dry, peel and scaly brown when it's not red giving me somewhat the appearance of peach fuzz around my lips when I used Crest or Colgate toothpaste. Since I've only purchased this product a couple of days ago, I can't really say if there's much improvement on my skin surrounding my mouth. I DO know that it's less messy to brush with this toothpaste than other toothpastes because of the lack of foam. I will be using topical mosturizing creams after brushing my teeth and I'm hoping my skin will heal. I will try to keep people posted if I can on this product.

I have a 3 year old who cannot stand the zesty or spicy qualities of traditional toothpaste. We've tried many different brands for her. Finally, with a lot of coaxing, she tried this one. Her first reaction with her toothbrush still in her mouth was, "It tastes so good I wish I could swallow it". Well at least we found one she can tolerate but I didn't want her to like it that much!!! It hasn't been a problem though, she spits out. I would rather be the person squeezing it on her brush, this flavor seems a bit messier than the Non-Child MultiCare. But it's simple to wipe off the counter. All in all, I'm thankful we can afford such an expensive tube of toothpaste. It can be expensive to Go Green!

My daughter can't have artificial colors so on came the search for organic toothpaste. Tried Toms and it was nasty, I tried it too to see if it was that bad and it was. Then I was l was on Facebook and the ForTheMamma's had a free sample of the adult and I went online and saw that you sell children's also and went out the next day and found it, bought it, tried it and my girls love it! They are 3 and 7 and I use the adult formula. Their teeth are whiter and so are mine and mine have never felt cleaner. The only thing I am curious about is why is it not ADA approved?

Great Mint Free Alternative

Pros: there's no strange after taste, you can drink/eat without a terrible taste
Cons: harder to get product out after half empty
I'm not a child nor do I have any... but I do have an allergy to mint, wintergreen, spearmint, etc. etc. so it's hard for me to find a toothpaste that doesn't upset me. I finally found a store that carried this Orange toothpaste and it's wonderful! I was afraid of how my mouth might feel afterwards but I like the feeling it leaves in my mouth too.

Great Product- Terrible packaging

My daughter loves this toothpaste and has definitely brightened her teeth. The packaging is terrible. It's incredibly difficult to squeeze the product out of the tube, especially after it's half way used. My daughter has to ask for help, which sort of defeats the purpose of having a kids line. The opening gets goopy and sometimes I just have to unscrew the cap and squeeze it out from there. Not well thought out at all.

I think this is the best product ever. It does what it says it even whites my teeth a little bit of a time! I like it so much. This toothpaste keeps our mouth clean longer than any other toothpaste that ive had. i tried the sample on before i purchased the bigger one never tried a natural toothpaste before and i really like this.

My kids really like the flavors of both of the kids' products. Their only complaint is that it is hard to squeeze it out of the tubes. I like that the tubes are NOT metal like another brand we used to use, so they don't crimp and break, which is when they get tossed in the garbage!

My 4 year old son finally doesn't give me a hard time when brushing his teeth because he loves the taste of this one. All other kinds I've tried, he just did not like. So, I'm happy this one works for him. I will be ordering more.

Good non-"spicy" kids toothpaste

Got this for my daughter when she "graduated" to flouride toothpaste. I like it because it is a natural flouride toothpaste that is not "spicy" as she would say. She loves it. The only bummer is that it is messier than most toothpastes coming out of the tube.

I was so upset when Burt's Bees discontinued their original toothpastes, so when I saw these new additions, I JUMPED at the chance to try them! I am not disappointed in the least! We have sensative teeth and this toothpaste works great. Mild flavor that kids will appreciate...no minty burn!

Tasty and Effective Toothpaste!

I don't have kids; I'm not near little kids; but deep down, I'm still a kid! If you've ever been tempted to taste or eat the Orange Facial Cleanser (because it smells so yummy), this is the awesome alternative!!! First, the toothpaste is tasty and gentle for sensitive ADULT teeth. Second, my teeth feel more clean after using this toothpaste rather than regular Crest or Colgate brands. Third, it doesn't feel like your mouth has just been burned with jet fuel (like other toothpastes). Fourth and finally, you can eat or drink breakfast right after you brush your teeth with no bitter tastes! I love this toothpaste - I can't wait to try other flavors (and flourides!).
