Decent toothpaste, but I hate the new packaging

The toothpaste is ok. It's a bit thick but it does the job and the addition of Novamin makes it worthwhile. However they used to have this reasonably easy to use snap top on the tube. The last two tubes I've purchased have had a new, large, twist off top. This makes the toothpaste unbearably difficult to use as the toothpaste leaks into the twist top and smears all over the tube every time you use it. I gave it two tubes to see if I could get the hang of making it not messy but that's not possible, so I will switch to a different brand because ease-of-use should be a consideration when designing packaging.

I love Burts Bees toothpaste! It is much better than Tom's! Thank you so much. I just wish it was easier to find. Stores around me don't carry the toothpaste.

I could care less about the taste, consistency, or anything else other than the performance. This product has novamin and fluoride... and the resulting remineralization is visible and fabulous! It's too bad they can't advertise it as such.

BAD BADPackaging

I have given this toothpaste a chance for THREE individual times. Each time I have thrown the toothpaste away nearly full. The tube punctures and all of the toothpaste leaks out; a big runny cakey mess. The plastic flip top to open the toothpaste is extremely difficult to open ( a round twist off cap would serve much better.)

I love the toothpaste. It is refreshing and makes my whole mouth feel clean. However, it is too thick for this kind of tube container. It work better if it was in a toothpaste pump.

I have been using this toothpaste for months now, and it's fantastic! My whole mouth feels fresh and clean, andI like that everyone in the family including our 7 year old can use it. Yes, the toothpaste is thick and yes it may seem like it's a bit harder to squeeze out, but I'd rather have that then nasty chemicals in my mouth! Give it a try youwon't regret it!

awesome, but...

I really love everything about this toothpaste, but there is one thing that could use some improvement. The flavor is great, and I really like the texture, but it is a little goopy coming out of the tube. After a few uses the top of the tube starts to get caked with sticky toothpaste. I am not sure if it a design problem with the tube, or something that needs tweaking with the ingredients to make it a bit less runny. That is truly my only complaint. I recommend it, if you don't mind wiping the tube clean once in a while.

I love the toothpaste. It tastes awesome and leaves my teeth feeling smooth. The only complaint is the stand-up tube. It leaks out of the cap after awhile.

My boyfriend and I love the toothpaste. The flavor tastes better than major brands and I feel like it works better. My only complaint is that the package is small for the price and we're almost out after a couple months.

I have a very hard time with traditional toothpastes, they make my tongue blister and the skin peel from the inside of my mouth. This toothpaste has never given me any problems. It tastes great and I would definately recommend it to anyone, even those who aren't into natural products.

My mouth was totally blistered by using other toothpastes that contained chemicals. I recieved a free tube of Burt's Bee's toothpaste and gave it a try. My mouth cleared up and now I am a true believer in Burt's Bee's Natural Toothpaste! Who really needs chemicals in your toothpaste anyways! Thanks so much for coming out with such a great toothpaste!

I got this in one of the grab bags I purchased a couple of months ago. The toothpaste is very thick. So thick in fact I had a hard time sqeezing it out of the tube. Instead I would untwist the cap in order to squeeze it out. I used it with my sonicare toothbrush, and I did not like it at all. Halfway through brushing the toothpaste was already reduced to a liquid inside my mouth.

I love everything about this toothpaste EXCEPT the poor packaging! For that reason alone, I will not be buying this product again unless they come up with new packaging. I would say realistically about a quarter of the toothpaste was wasted due to the messy squeeze tube and the way it leaks out all over. What a mess!

This is the best toothpaste I've ever used! It leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean, and even whitens your teeth. I have sensitive gums, and since this is SLS free, I never have to worry. I absolutely love this product-- I just hope it will be made into a bigger tube!

I got a sample in a kit, tried it when I ran out of my regular toothpaste.
I was surprised that it made my mouth feel so clean....even after hours.
I will buy more because I like the way it makes my mouth feel, taste and look!

After using multiple tubes of this, I must say it's my favourite toothpaste, but the container design tends toward messiness. Though I've been extra careful not to let excess get around where the tube's cap closes, it seems unavoidable, and more so than with other toothpastes.

Good paste, but SUCH a mess!!

I very much like this toothpaste, but whoever designed the packaging should consider a change of career. It stands upright, yet the paste then oozes out the bottom and gets stuck all over the cap such that when you open it, a string forms that will drip all over if you're not careful.
Burt's, please keep making this toothpaste, but maybe use a firmer plastic for the tube or just use an old-fashioned tube that gets stored horizontally!
